Ignatian Spiritual Exercises
For nearly five hundred years, the Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius of Loyola have been a tool for spiritual formation. The Exercises emphasize the personhood of Jesus Christ. He is not just a historical character to study, but a person to dialogue with, learn from, and walk alongside. The Exercises’ diverse approaches to prayer enable us to come before God openly and honestly and to hear from God in ways many Christians haven’t experienced before .

How I work
Retreats and Workshops
To truly thrive as believers, I believe that we must learn to find peace and a close connection with God in the midst of urban challenges — not just in a manicured retreat center setting.
I facilitate contemplative retreats and workshops that help participants find God’s presence inside San Francisco and the surrounding area.
To best facilitate retreats, I partner with another spiritual advisor named Dale Gish. You can learn about his ministry here.
Details:
Contemplative, prayerful group retreats
Encounter God in Scripture through meditation or imaginative/centering prayer
Can accommodate a range of group sizes
Flexible location
Not a traditional speaker-led retreat
